In this role, you will work alongside an experienced team of skilled roofers, undertaking repair and renewal roofing works, and communicating effectively with the scheduler, residents, and line manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake repair and renewal roofing works, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents, and line manager, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Remain up-to-date with technical and legal requirements of the skill area, ensuring you have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform your duties.
  • Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required, demonstrating effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job, via a PDA, ensuring accurate records and efficient reporting.

Requirements:

  • A passion for roofing and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
