About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care & Support Workers to join our team at Footprints Home, a serene rural location in Canterbury. As a full-time member of our team on a rotational basis, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of young people entrusted to our care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to ensure the overall well-being of each individual.
- Assist with daily living activities, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Create a positive and engaging environment through planned activities and outings.
- Maintain a clean and safe living space, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young individuals based on their unique needs.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support, promoting independence and enjoyment.
- Initiative and creativity in organizing activities and events that cater to diverse interests.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or a willingness to obtain one.
