Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and dedicated recruitment agency, seeks a skilled Independent Reviewing Officer for a permanent full-time position based in Haringey. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership and professional support to colleagues and other professionals in complex situations, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances practice, procedures, and policies.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of practice, theory, and legislation to drive innovation, promote best practices, and introduce new approaches from recognized sites of excellence.
  • Model effective assessment and risk management in complex situations, including positive risk-taking scenarios, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
  • Lead on safeguarding issues in collaboration with senior team members, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Offer professional guidance, advice, and/or supervision to support staff development and performance.
  • Monitor and support the performance management and development of team members using a coaching approach, maximizing individual contributions.
  • Manage complaints as required, verify assessments, and authorize when necessary.
  • Contribute to organizational change and development, addressing performance management issues that arise.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to data quality legislation requirements.
  • Monitor, analyze, and manage delegated budgets and resources according to council policies and procedures, or have indirect influence on wider service budget.


Requirements:




  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Continual professional development.
  • Social Work England registration.
