Swimming Instructor

Job Title: Swimming Instructor - Part-time Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic swimming instructor to join our team at Fife Sports and Leisure Trust on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering swimming lessons to children and adults of all abilities, in line with the Scottish Swimming (SASA) Learn to Swim programme.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver fun and engaging swimming lessons to individuals and groups.
2. Assess and record the progress of swimmers through the Learn to Swim Programme.
3. Promote the Fife Sports and Leisure Trust Learn to Swim programme and provide information on alternative products and services.
4. Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and attend training sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 1 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics.
• UKCC Level 2 Teacher of Aquatics / ASA qualification or equivalent.
• First Aid Qualification.
• Child Protection Training.

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a team environment and be required to communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and colleagues.
