Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at HVAC Recruitment. As a key member of our facilities management company, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing commercial gas systems across a variety of commercial properties in the Bristol area.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of commercial gas appliances, boilers, and heating systems. You will diagnose and repair gas-related faults and breakdowns, carry out gas safety inspections, testing, and certifications, and deliver high-quality customer service across a range of sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances, boilers, and heating systems.
  • Diagnose and repair gas-related faults and breakdowns efficiently.
  • Carry out gas safety inspections, testing, and certifications in line with industry regulations.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service across a range of sites, including offices, retail units, educational facilities, and healthcare environments.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety standards and gas industry legislation.
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1).
  • Proven experience in the commercial facilities maintenance sector.
  • Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence.
