The BBC is seeking a dynamic and creative journalist to join its News NI team as a radio presenter. This exciting role offers the chance to write and present news bulletins with flair and authority.

You will be an integral part of the editorial team, working across various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Your primary responsibilities will include presenting news bulletins in a timely, assured, and engaging manner, writing and compiling content that meets the highest editorial standards, reporting and presenting with accuracy and impartiality, and using audio, video, and digital equipment to research, edit, and deliver high-quality content.

To succeed in this role, you will have a clear broadcasting voice, prior experience in live news broadcasting, strong journalistic skills, and a passion for news and current affairs. You must also have in-depth knowledge of politics, current affairs, and ongoing issues within Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and further afield. Good time management skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and an understanding of the role of radio news in the digital age are essential.
