About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Sales Specialist to join our team as an Arable Farm Expert. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with farmers across Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire.
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales of seeds, fertilizers, and other farm inputs while managing purchases of grain from growers for our trading team to market.
You will provide customers with information about all our farm services, including storage capabilities, grain marketing, agronomy packages, haulage, and feeds. Your knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and our products and services will enable you to inform and advise our customers effectively.
To succeed in this role, you will need a sound understanding of on-farm sales, arable farming, and grain buying. Ideally, you will hold a BASIS qualification or have studied and worked in arable agriculture to an advanced level. Alternatively, you may have hands-on farm management experience or a similar role in a business making arable farm sales with a serviced customer base that you have successfully grown.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. As a valued member of our team, you will also receive a range of benefits, including a UK driving license, company car, and comprehensive training and development opportunities.
