Job Description:

This is a Generalist Band 5 post with clinical responsibility for assessing, diagnosing, and managing identified speech, language, and communication delays/disorders in different community settings. You will work closely with Speech and Language Therapy colleagues to plan and deliver a service that meets the identified needs of the children referred to our service.

Your main duties will include:
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing communication difficulties in children across different settings.
  • Working closely with Speech and Language Therapy colleagues to plan and deliver a service that meets the identified needs of the children referred to our service.
  • Representing the department by attending meetings in relation to children on the caseload.
