About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician Charge Hand to join our Grounds Maintenance team at Sanctuary Property Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties across Sussex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervisory support to maintain high standards of estate maintenance and cleanliness
  • Operate equipment and materials safely and efficiently, adhering to risk assessments and manufacturer guidelines
  • Carry out hazardous tasks, such as spraying, in accordance with supplier guidelines and maintain relevant records
  • Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and suitable for tasks
  • Respond to customer complaints and service delivery issues to meet expectations
Requirements
  • Pesticide Application Certificate PA1 – PA6 (or equivalent) is desirable
  • NVQ3 or equivalent in Horticulture or similar discipline is desirable
  • Recent experience of working in a similar role, operating gardening machinery is essential
  • Some experience of supervising others
  • A full valid UK driving licence is required for company business
