Based in Manchester, this role plays a vital part in supporting the charitable mission of Emmaus by providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the daily operations of our Emporium store.

This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance for individuals to contribute to a dynamic social enterprise while working closely with a dedicated team of volunteers and the Operations Manager. Key responsibilities include managing the checkout facility, handling card payments, training, and supervising volunteers to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the logistical operation of the retail Emporium
  • Carry out shop administration tasks, including operating the checkout facility and managing card payments
  • Train and supervise volunteers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
  • Provide retail support to restock the shop floor regularly and maintain visually appealing displays
