Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to manage and maintain our stock and yard operations in our depot in Wick. This role is crucial in ensuring our operational teams have the materials and support they need to excel.

About the Role
  • Operational responsibilities will include the efficient movement and storage of materials and plant around the Yard area, as well as preparing material packs in advance for operational gangs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Yard and support areas, assisting with stock checks and audits, monitoring waste bins and skips, and supporting mechanics with the movement of plant and vehicles.
  • Monitor the Yard to prevent slips, trips, and falls, adhering to GCU's Health & Safety policies, processes, and risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Telehandler training or willingness to complete this training.
  • A valid driving license (Category B, minimum) is essential for the role.
  • Prior experience in a yard or stores position, showcasing familiarity with site operations and safety practices.
