About the Role: We are looking for an experienced social worker to work within our Adult Safeguarding Team, supporting vulnerable adults and their families in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing individual needs, managing care packages, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of adult safeguarding principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a competitive salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including flexible working hours, weekly payroll, and free access to online training. A referral bonus of £250 is also available for successful referrals.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting thorough assessments and reviews
  • Managing care packages and adult placements
  • Liaising with other professionals and stakeholders
  • Developing effective relationships with service users and their families

Requirements: The successful candidate must hold a DipSW or equivalent qualification, be registered with the HCPC, possess a current DBS certificate, and have a valid car driver's license.
