We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team at Reed. This role involves installing, configuring, and documenting software to build and maintain IT infrastructure across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and document a range of software including AD, DNS, BIOS, Windows O/S, ESXi hosts, virtual switches, storage, virtualised CISCO License server, ISE, MOVEit automation and file transfer, and Trellix anti-virus.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure in INTEGRATION, PRE-PROD, and PROD environments.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team comprising architects, network engineers, integrators, and testers, often remotely.
  • Occasionally participate in face-to-face meetings to collaboratively solve technical problems.
  • Undergo training on novel software solutions and become a recognised source of expertise within the team.
  • Assist in system-integration of multiple software products and support testers in validating the solution.
  • Explain technical solutions to non-technical team members such as project managers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure projects involving virtualisation, storage, WINTEL, IMPEX, and CISCO ISE.
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and documenting software across various IT environments.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to undergo training and quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical details effectively.
Desirable Skills:
  • Team-working and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with remote working and knowledge sharing.
  • Familiarity with HSM, F5 devices, Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting.
