Radiology Specialist for a Rural Healthcare Setting

About the Role
This is a full-time Consultant Radiologist position with 10 PAs. The role involves providing a clinical radiology service for NHS Western Isles, with a focus on ongoing development and consolidation of a robust governance program. As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for managing, motivating, and leading the Radiology team.
The post has the potential for a proportion of the job planned time to be worked remotely. The successful applicant will be expected to have a strong sense of leadership and be able to demonstrate good communication skills. They will also be responsible for ensuring the sustainability of this singlehanded post through collaboration with other healthcare providers.

About the Benefits
As a Consultant Radiologist with NHS Scotland, you will have access to a range of benefits, including a competitive salary of £96,963 - £128,841 per annum. You will also be eligible for relocation expenses, making it easier to move to the Western Isles. In addition, the post is eligible for an Obligate Network, which provides out-of-hours and leave cover, peer support, and second opinion.
The successful applicant will also be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme. With a range of general skills and a strong sense of leadership, you will be able to manage, motivate, and lead the Radiology team.
