Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Repair Design Engineer to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As a Repair Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing repairs on metallic and composite structures, working closely with Stress Engineers to create and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met
  • Adhere to airworthiness regulations, methods, and capability guidelines
  • Create and coordinate engineering documentation to deliver the required technical data for repairs

Requirements

  • Aircraft Structural Engineering background
  • Understanding of CATIA V5
  • Experience designing repairs and working with spares
  • Ability to read production drawings
  • The ability to undergo a BPSS check

Additional Information

Please note that this role requires a BPSS clearance, and the client will provide sponsorship. If you have a design signatory/delegation, there is also an approver role available with an hourly rate of £50ph.
