Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at Platinum Recruitment Consultancy. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and their vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of faults across various car makes and models, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, servicing, and MOT preparation, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Clearly explain repairs and recommendations to clients, providing excellent communication and customer service.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Continuously develop your skills by attending relevant training courses and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
- Must hold a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (minimum).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, with experience using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary up to £35,000 DOE (Dependent On Experience).
- Uncapped commission opportunity with a potential extra annual earning of circa £4,000.
- 25 days holiday entitlement + bank holidays.
- Varied workweek with Saturdays on a rota basis.
