Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Hackney

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mixed Secondary School in Hackney. The successful candidate will work in the SEN department, supporting students with group exercises or on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in a mainstream secondary school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN, as needed
  • Assist with group exercises and activities, promoting social and emotional development

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
