IA Governance Specialist

We're seeking an Information Assurance Security Manager to join our team, working closely with our client in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert IA advice and risk assessments for complex systems.
- Act as a liaison between business areas and key stakeholders on IA and risk management issues.
- Ensure ongoing engagement with Framework Stakeholders, providing timely information on security, legal or policy risks, issues and actions.
- Provide IRM support, advice and guidance to business management teams, engineers and user communities.
- Assess, manage, maintain and challenge business and IRM/security related policies, processes, proposals and procedures.
- Inform key business stakeholders of new IRM and Security Policies, Standards, Guidelines and initiatives.
- Ensure relevant IT Security Policies are followed and exceptions are escalated appropriately.
- Act as the primary Lifecycle Manager for PU accounts and review PU holders to determine if they still require access.
- Contribute to the wider IASM community, including support to the technical development of less experienced IASMs.
The salary for this position is approximately £595 per day, based on the location and industry standards.
