Salary and Benefits

As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer with M Group Services, you can expect a competitive salary of £37,823 per annum, rising to an OTE of £48,000 annually. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • A 22-day annual leave entitlement, increasing to 25 days after four years of service
  • Sick pay and pension scheme provisions
  • A company van and fuel card for work-related travel
  • Regular overtime payments at time and a half and double time on Sundays
Job Description

We are seeking skilled engineers to join our team as Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers. As part of this role, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and maintenance jobs, installing and removing smart meters in domestic properties, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Your primary focus will be on delivering timely and efficient solutions that meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to emergency and maintenance requests from clients
  • Installing and removing smart meters in domestic properties
  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
  • Working effectively with colleagues and management to achieve business objectives
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 qualifications, or equivalent experience in smart meter installation
  • Previous experience installing gas and electric smart meters
  • Ideal registration on the EUSR portal (not essential)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full, current manual driving license (maximum 6 points)
