About the Role:

The Maintenance Plumber will be responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance services to our venues, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including domestic hot and cold-water services and sanitary systems.
  • Undertake planned maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems, including Gas Boilers.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on Gas distribution systems and commercial appliances.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical Drive systems, including smoke extract systems.
  • Test and maintain Fire Fighting Equipment – Sprinkler Systems.
  • Record maintenance and repair activities on Computer Aided Facilities System (CAFM).
  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Travel to various venues, including first direct arena Leeds, Newcastle Utilita Arena, Playhouse Theatre Whitley Bay, York Barbican Theatre, and Hull Bonus Arena.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Plumbing.
  • City and Guilds Water Regulations & Unvented Hot Water Systems (3345).
  • ACS Gas – COCN1 Core Commercial Heating – Natural Gas Safety and Appliances.
  • 5 Years post-qualification experience of undertaking Mechanical Maintenance in Commercial/Industrial sector.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work under pressure, willingness to become a key member of the team, and self-manage workload.
