Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dispensing Assistant to join our team. As a Dispensing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our pharmacists in dispensing medication, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medication, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective dispensing operations
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Completed an accredited NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) Dispensing Assistant training course
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Ambitious to learn and develop their career
