Role Overview

As a Digital Solutions Architect at Barclays, you will lead the transformation of our digital ecosystem, fostering innovation and operational excellence. Your expertise in advanced technologies will be pivotal in enhancing our digital services, ensuring exceptional customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data and management information for identifying opportunities to optimize processes and enhance capacity in relevant business sectors.
  • Design and execute strategies aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations through data-driven insights.
  • Engage in projects and initiatives focused on enhancing performance and operational efficiency.
  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations detailing performance metrics and optimization strategies, communicating findings to senior internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and developments, working with various stakeholders across the organization to propose recommendations for improvements in performance and optimization processes.
  • Develop and implement analytics and reporting mechanisms to manage risks and ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilize data and management information to identify opportunities for capacity enhancement within operations.
Expectations for Leadership
  • Provide strategic advice to key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, regarding functional and cross-functional impacts and alignments.
  • Assess and manage risks in support of the control and governance framework.
  • Exhibit leadership and accountability in managing risks and reinforcing controls related to your team's activities.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of organizational functions to contribute effectively to business objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to stay informed about business activities and strategies.
  • Develop solutions based on sophisticated analytical reasoning, evaluating and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis and interpretative thinking will be essential for problem definition and innovative solution development.
  • Incorporate findings from extensive research into problem-solving processes.
  • Establish and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key business objectives, utilizing influencing and negotiation skills to drive results.
