Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. We are looking for a veterinary professional who can provide comprehensive care for patients, perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments, and work effectively in a team.

Work Schedule:
Rota – 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am-5:45pm), no Sunday working or Out-of-Hours work after 7pm.
Salary: £35,000-£65,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine examinations and diagnostics on a variety of animals.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries, with the support of veterinary nurses and staff.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
