Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ward Manager to join our team at a leading mental health hospital in East Sussex.

About the Role: As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the unit, providing effective clinical leadership and support to the nursing and healthcare team, and overseeing patient care plans to ensure they are individualized and focused on recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the unit.
  • Provide effective clinical leadership and support to the nursing and healthcare team.
  • Oversee patient care plans, ensuring they are individualized and focused on recovery.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop staff to promote their professional growth.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin. Experience in a managerial or leadership role within a healthcare setting is also essential.

What We Offer: The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,668 - £51,393 per annum DOE, as well as a range of benefits including a £7,000 Welcome Bonus, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a group Personal Pension Plan (GPPP), and private medical insurance.
