The Framework Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the successful delivery of projects or services within a designated framework. This role involves ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, coordinating between stakeholders, and optimising project performance. The manager will also play a pivotal role in maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution and delivery of projects within the framework, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure objectives are met.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and contractual obligations.
  • Build and strengthen the delivery team across multiple work streams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Framework Manager will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinating multiple projects within the framework, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Working alongside project managers to ensure resources are effectively allocated.
  • Resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during project delivery.
  • Monitoring the financial performance of the framework, including managing budgets and cost forecasts.
  • Identifying areas for cost savings and ensuring profitability of the framework.
  • Approving expenditures and managing invoicing processes in collaboration with the finance team.

Risk Management:

The Framework Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the framework. This includes implementing effective risk management strategies and reporting any significant issues to senior management.

Reporting and Documentation:

The Framework Manager will be responsible for preparing and presenting regular reports on framework performance, financials, and risks. They will also ensure that all documentation and contracts related to the framework are up-to-date and compliant.

Continuous Improvement:

The Framework Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the framework. This includes staying informed of industry best practices, market trends, and innovations that could benefit the framework.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, RICS) is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in framework or contract management, project management, or a similar role.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
