Theatre Anaesthetic Lead Practitioner

As a Lead Anaesthetics Practitioner with MediTalent, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals within the Theatre Anaesthetics department, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities- Department Management: Manage the anaesthetic department and theatre portering service to ensure efficient operation and high-quality patient care.
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality pre, peri, and post-operative care, assessing patients' needs and developing effective care plans to meet those needs.
- Clinical Standards and Team Collaboration: Maintain high clinical standards within the department, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork among staff members.
- Professional Accountability: Uphold the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Code of Professional Conduct, demonstrating professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Qualifications: ILS (Immediate Life Support) or ALS (Advanced Life Support) qualification, registered practitioner with NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council).
- Experience: Proven experience in an Anaesthetic role, with a strong background in leading teams and managing departments.
- Salary: Up to £56,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits and paid enhancements.
