Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Specialist to join our team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects in the Healthcare sector, utilising your skills and expertise to deliver successful outcomes.

About the Role

  • This position involves leading project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery on large or complex projects.
  • You will act as the primary client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing guidance on different approaches to successfully achieve client objectives.
  • Establishing overall success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • Developing effective project governance processes and systems.
  • Project planning, including producing detailed project plans.
  • Leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams.
  • Maintaining project finances and monitoring performance using KPIs.
  • Managing project information flow between teams and clients through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Ensuring the production of formal project progress reports.
  • Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Ensuring up-to-date project case study, photograph, and project CV files.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve project management services.

Internal Management Accountabilities

  • Staff management (where applicable) – contributing to the formal management of Assistant Project Managers or small project management teams.
  • Knowledge management – ensuring key information and learning from each project is documented in the Turner & Townsend internal database.
  • Financial management – ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilising FMS to monitor project financial status.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Healthcare projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
  • Able to successfully manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
