We are seeking a skilled Forklift Engineer to join our team at Grant Handling. As a Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults with machinery, servicing, and emergency repairs.
A typical day will consist of working on both customer and Grant Handling owned machines to ensure they are in full working order. You will work independently in a safe manner on customer sites, communicating well with customers and internal colleagues, and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed correctly.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately diagnose faults with machinery
- Servicing and emergency repairs
- Work on customer and Grant Handling owned machines
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal colleagues
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed correctly
- Technical background from within Materials Handling or similar sectors
- Previous experience and qualifications from a similar role
- Experience working on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Good attitude with the ability to stay motivated and productive
- A customer-focused perspective and approach
