Job Description

This role is responsible for leading and managing the inventory team to ensure seamless production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating inventory activities, and optimizing inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of stock controllers and inventory coordinators to ensure KPIs and daily tasks are completed.
  • Support the Inventory Manager in overseeing inventory control, including daily audits and distribution of materials.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate and track waste, damaged, and returned materials, and manage the quarantine area.
  • Lead by example, solving problems and assisting in daily tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in inventory management.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles, procedures, and best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Derby, DE21 7HW.

Work Schedule:

Night Shift pattern; 7pm to 7am, 42 hours per week, 4 on 3 off, Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
