Service Desk Operations Director Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Operations Director to lead our team in Lancashire. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day activities of our service desk, ensuring users and clients receive the support they need. This is an exciting opportunity for a true leader to make a positive impact and drive positive change.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage 3 Service Desk Analysts.
  • Drive improvement in operational performance across a team of 10.
  • Oversee ticket workflow management and SLA delivery.
  • Pursue opportunities to reduce ticket resolution times.
  • Organize regular team meetings.
  • Review and enhance documentation processes.
  • Implement smooth project handovers into support portals.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews.
  • Manage rostering and recruitment efforts.
Essential Requirements:
  • ITIL certification.
  • Proven track record in leading teams.
  • Driven by results and performance metrics.
  • Able to drive process improvements and implement change.

The annual salary range for this role is £55,000 - £65,000.
