Gynaecology Nurse

National Locums is seeking an experienced and dedicated Gynaecology Nurse to support Urogynae clinics in West Yorkshire. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us clear the backlog of patients and ensure they receive the highest standard of care. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact while enjoying flexible working hours and competitive rates.

**Initial Commitment**

* 8 clinics, each with 7 patients per day (30-minute slots), covering a total of 54 patients.
* Depending on demand, the number of clinics may be increased to 15.
* Clinics will be scheduled during weekends and evenings to accommodate patient needs and your availability.

* Evidence of continuous professional development
* Degree

**Previous Experience**

* Accept personal accountability for own practice
* Understanding of evidence-based practice
* Understanding of Clinical Governance
* Continence care
* Experience providing Gynaecology care

**Skills**

* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Capable of working as an integral member of a small team
* Flexible and adaptable to changing situations due to both workload and colleagues' needs
* Ability to undertake teaching of staff and patients
* Ability to work unsupervised and manage own workload; effective time management
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Commitment to multidisciplinary working
* Counselling/communication skills to deal with sensitive care issues
* Knowledge of Gynaecology subspecialties
* Urodynamics certification
