As a Programme Manager in Moog's Military Aircraft Group, you will have the opportunity to drive the delivery of critical aircraft flight control systems for some of our most demanding clients. You will lead a team responsible for highly challenging engineering development and production programmes, managing internal resources, budgets, and assets for approximately £10-£50 million in combined programme sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all programme activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Optimize the programme likelihood of success through project planning, performance measurement, organization management, change management, and risk management.
  • Develop the master programme schedule with Manufacturing and Engineering; coordinate schedule plans and changes with the customer.
  • Manage cost, schedule, and task completion to ensure compliance with programme objectives.
  • Coordinate with functional management to ensure the assignment of adequate programme resources.
  • Conduct effective day-to-day communications (both written and verbal) with the customer, Moog management, and Moog functional organizations to resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the preparation of presentation materials for internal and customer meetings and reviews. Manage the conduct of such meetings and reviews.
  • Prepare regular status reports for management and the customer, which provide visibility for programme issues and risks.
  • Assist in the preparation of change proposals and orders, and support fact-finding and negotiations to ensure completeness from a programme management viewpoint.
  • Sustain and expand the organization's book of business through the leadership and/or support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns.
  • Manage the relationship with the customer to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
  • 5+ years of programme management experience.
  • 10+ years of additional professional work experience in a related field.
  • Professional certifications in project management desired.
