Amazon Ads and Retail Media Management Executive

About the Role
The Senior Commerce Campaigns Leader will oversee the implementation and execution of Commerce campaigns and strategies, collaborating closely with clients to achieve their goals.
As a key figure in the team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Retail Media professionals, ensuring the highest standards of work quality, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
Success will be measured through improved account performance, growth in client investment in Retail Media, internal audit scores, case studies, error reduction, client growth, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a high-performing Retail Media team to an industry-leading standard.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects, actively working on key accounts when necessary.
- Oversee the quality of all work output from the team, ensuring it meets agency best practices.
- Monitor client results and delivery against forecast, providing clear strategic direction for improvement.
- Challenge and interrogate briefs to ensure delivery meets the highest standards, on time, and in line with agency values.
- Implement and manage client processes, including reporting and finance.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant tools and technologies.
- Develop and maintain project and account development plans outlining key tasks for clients.
- Ensure all work aligns with client overall strategy.
- Accurately forecast potential delivery and ROI for existing and new clients.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Retail Media product through project work and information sharing.
- Help build and deliver training to new starters and junior team members.
- Contribute to the wider growth of the Retail Media channel within Dentsu.
Professional Requirements
- Aptitude to build and maintain strong working relationships, both vertically and horizontally.
- Ability to anticipate issues and develop creative, proactive solutions.
- High degree of numeracy and literacy are essential.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
- Strong literacy in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and challenge the status quo.
Role Capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Ads and the Retail Media ecosystem, focusing on On-Site activation across key retail partners.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, updates, and platforms.
- Sound understanding of digital media, with a good general understanding of how each channel impacts one another, particularly Content SEO and UX/CRO.
- Accountability for quality of output and actively measuring and considering success.
- Expertise in creating and managing processes.
- Effectiveness in managing through others.
- Adaptability beyond the core aspect of the role.
- Role modeling Dentsu's values and behaviors at all times.
- Strong people management skills.
