We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist and Engineer to join our team at Leonardo. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and advancing our technology capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Applied Research: Conduct early research into new technologies and concepts, identifying opportunities for exploitation and development.
  2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to research and development projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, lead, and oversee technical research and development tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A PhD, EngD, or relevant research experience in a Maths, Engineering, or relevant Technology subject.
  2. Experience of collaborating with others, either within a research group or wider afield.
  3. Experience in planning, leading, and overseeing technical research or development tasks.
  4. Proficiency in coding and programming languages, with the ability to develop models and solve complex problems.
