The successful candidate will report into the Quality Control Manager and be responsible for ensuring production units meet all approved drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor operations to ensure production standards are met
* Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
* Inspect, test, measure & report on materials & products being produced
* Ensure all quality checks are completed and recorded within the quality management system
* Accept or reject finished items
* Report inspection and test data
* Report and Record Non-Conformances

Essential Criteria:

* A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role within the M&E or manufacturing industries
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office
* Good mathematical and technical skills
* Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
* Good written and Oral communication skills
* Excellent knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings

Desired Criteria:

* GCSE at Grade C or above in Mathematics and English Language or equivalent qualification
* Experience of weld inspection
