This role requires strong technical ability and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of daily PM checks, as well as implementing the company preventative maintenance programme through scheduled PMs based on risk assessment and performance reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the attractions, services, and facility are maintained and functioning effectively and efficiently.
- Work with flexibility within the Maintenance Department and in co-operation with other Departments.
- Implement the company preventative maintenance programme through scheduled PMs based on risk assessment and performance reliability.
- Carry out planned/unplanned maintenance on Mechanical Attractions.
- Respond immediately to breakdowns during the shift, ensuring minimum downtime is experienced.
- Proactively follow up on re-occurring technical issues.
- Carry out detailed root cause analysis on breakdowns to implement corrective repairs and future preventative action.
- Complete non-trade specific work as required.
- Daily reporting of maintenance activities ensuring issues and open items / concerns are communicated in a timely and concise manner.
- Participate in Safety and Environmental training programmes and initiatives. Adhere to safe working practices as set out by the Safety Statement and other company safety rules.
- Maintain compliance with park procedures and policies.
- Participate fully in any cross-functional training initiatives and mentor operations personnel at all times.
Requirements:
- Suitable qualification in an electrical, instrumentation engineering discipline a distinct advantage.
- Working at height is Essential and full training will be given.
- Strong fault finding / problem solving skills essential.
- Good reporting skills essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to take lead on maintenance issues and to work independently or as a team member.
- Be flexible in respect of shift changes and to participate in the maintenance procedure as required.
- Responds positively to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Proven track record in your current role is essential.
- The role is varied where both electrical and mechanical skills are required. Candidates who can show an aptitude and ability in both disciplines will have a distinct advantage.
Person:
- Trades qualification or Diploma in Electronics or Electrics.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within an automated production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
- Experienced on 3 phase, single phase, and low voltage DC.
- Good team player who can also work on their own initiative.
- Organised, self-motivated, ambitious, with excellent communication (verbal/written) and problem-solving skills.
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
- Comprehensive knowledge of high-speed mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation, and PLC based control systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From €22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
