Job Title: Sous Chef

At Old Manor, we are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food safety and hygiene
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve kitchen goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
