Are you a seasoned maintenance professional looking for a new challenge? EVP Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our client's team in a leading manufacturing company.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced maintenance professional to lead and contribute to the development of the maintenance team through planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.


The Role:


Working on a day shift Monday to Friday, you'll be reporting to the Engineering Manager responsible for maintenance schedules on manufacturing and plant equipment.

As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for planning routine and breakdown maintenance schedules on Electrical/Mechanical equipment, managing and motivating a team of engineers, and working knowledge or understanding of electrical systems, transformers, motors, and various types of motor control systems.

On occasion, there will be a hands-on element of repairing and maintaining plant manufacturing equipment for all Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical breakdowns.

Experience with machine HMIs, PLCs, and diagnostics is desirable.

Developing and implementing planned maintenance systems and managing CAPEX projects are also key responsibilities.


The Requirements:

  • Experience working with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Electrics.
  • Motivational leader with a strong Mechanical/Electrical fault-finding mindset.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated individual with a time-served apprenticeship in a mechanical/electrical engineering background or HNC/HND qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment and a good working knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
