About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional English Teacher to join our team at a reputable special needs school in Cambridge. As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English to students with special educational needs in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching approach
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience in teaching within special needs education
  • Sound knowledge of the UK national curriculum and relevant teaching methodologies for students with SEN
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
