Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our team at Trainline. As a key member of our in-house tax function, you will be responsible for providing tax advice and support across various business areas.

Your role will involve a wide range of tasks, including providing tax advice, managing tax compliance, and implementing process improvements. You will work closely with the Group Tax Manager and Head of Tax to ensure that our tax function is aligned with the company's overall strategy.

We are looking for a confident and proactive individual with strong analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with changing tax legislation and ensuring that our company is compliant with all relevant tax requirements.

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax advice and support to various business areas
  • Manage tax compliance, including preparation of tax returns and submissions
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Work closely with the Group Tax Manager and Head of Tax to ensure alignment with company strategy
  • Keep up to date with changing tax legislation and ensure company compliance

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years' experience in tax, either in industry or practice
  • Strong foundation in VAT and other taxes
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
