We are partnering with a local authority in Rotherham to assist with the appointment of an Electrical Technical Specialist on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for consideration.

Compensation: Hourly Rate

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and professional guidance to the service and its customers
  • Lead research and special investigations, as well as service improvement projects or support others in project work, including performance management, contract management, and ensuring delivery within allocated budgets.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day administration of the service and projects, including managing the timetable, record-keeping, document maintenance, and development
  • Ensure actions from projects are successfully implemented, including quality checks and auditing of processes, if relevant
  • Administer contracts, including certification of applications for payment, issuance of instructions, monitoring and control of project expenditure, and issuance of certificates of practical completion

Qualifications:

  • Level 6 qualification or equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience
  • Equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice
  • You should have the right to work in the UK
  • This role requires a basic DBS
