Senior Operations Manager

The General Dental Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Register Maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our dental professionals' registers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day processes, including updating records, registrant online systems, and business name enquiries.
- Specialise in major projects annually that determine a registrant's eligibility to maintain their registration.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of operational programmes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Utilise your analytical skills to extract and manipulate information from databases.
- Present findings and analysis to various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
- Proven experience in an information collection department or similar environment.
- Previous project experience, with a track record of delivering operational programmes.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of a regulatory function.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and network effectively.
- Proficient in the use of Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
