Job Title: Contracts Manager - Commercial Glazing Systems

At Mitchell Maguire, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead our Commercial Glazing Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design, fabrication, and installation of commercial glazing projects, including aluminium curtain walling, windows, and doors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain RAMS and health & safety documentation.
  • Ensure installation meets specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate materials, deliveries, and installations in line with agreed programmes.
  • Authorise payments to subcontractors.
  • Attend pre and post-tender meetings as required.
  • Carry out snagging and final sign-off.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager in the fenestration market sector.
  • Strong background in architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire-rated glazing, structural glazing, windows, and doors.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness.
