Job Title: UX Junior

We are seeking a talented UX Junior to join our team at Hunter Dunning Limited. As a UX Junior, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our high-end residential and heritage projects.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and be able to apply them to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. You will work closely with our architectural teams to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and develop the company's compliance and safety services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead in planning, managing, and monitoring design work to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.
  2. Advise architectural teams on compliance with Building Regulations and develop the company's compliance and safety services.
  3. Develop and implement creative solutions to design challenges and promote sustainability practices.
  4. Collaborate with teams to execute strategic initiatives and meet key performance indicators.
  5. Prepare reports and provide insights to senior leadership.
  6. Monitor design phases for compliance and assist in assessing Duty Holders' competence.
  7. Provide exceptional communication and presentation skills to foster strong relationships with design directors, senior leadership, and architectural teams.
  8. Support financial management, project organisation, and health and safety documentation.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in the construction industry, ideally in a compliance or health and safety role.
  2. Excellent knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  3. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster strong relationships with design directors, senior leadership, and architectural teams.
  6. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  7. Degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar field.
  8. Membership in RICS, CABE, RIBA, CIAT, BSCF, or CIOB.
