About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our Infrastructure, Project Controls team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing coordination across project controls functions, including Planning, Risk, Change, and Cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support high-profile infrastructure projects across the rail, airports, highways, water, and utilities sectors.
  • Work closely with the Project Controls team to ensure effective planning, risk management, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and risk registers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide expert advice on project controls best practices and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a project controls environment within the infrastructure sector.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls, and/or PMO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
