Nuclear Repair Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter with experience in water treatment and wastewater systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment used in water and wastewater processing.
This role requires experience in a related field, working at heights and confined spaces. The ideal candidate should have a background in mechanical/site fitting (preferably skilled), self-motivated and keen to get things done.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be part of a 2-man team covering the whole of the Manchester area. You will travel to and from customer sites throughout these areas in one of our fully equipped, fully liveried company vehicles and require a full UK driving licence.
You will carry out an in-house training programme prior to going on site. Mechanical tool dexterity is imperative. You will work within pre-approved RAMS, installing new equipment, removing equipment from site to be returned to Manchester workshops for overhaul.
You will assist in identifying faults, servicing and repairing a wide range of plant and machinery, predominantly focusing on clean water and wastewater processing plant equipment. You will work in various weather conditions and confined spaces as required.
