Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Randstad UK. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of water treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all relevant health and safety documents are correctly recorded and maintained, and that work is carried out in accordance with method statements and work instructions.
  • Project Management: Supervise work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications, and that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Technical Expertise: Have a strong understanding of technical MEICA works, control panels, and control systems, and be able to supervise the installation of process packages and field pipework in a water process environment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete documentation and equipment checks, and prepare the setup of instrumentation and scaling instruments back to the main control system.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Have a strong background of working within the water industry, with experience of wastewater treatment and MEICA works.
  • Qualifications: Be CSCS qualified for managing safely, and have a valid Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Skills: Have a strong understanding of health and safety legislation, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Desirable: Have experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
