About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Programme Office, you will be responsible for delivering projects that drive innovation and growth for our clients.

Your Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Manage project finances, including revenue recognition, margin improvement, and month-end reporting.
Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for a strong leader with a proven track record in project management, particularly in the defence sector. You should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in delivering technical projects in a leading/management role.
  • Good knowledge of MOD procurement processes.
  • Experience in Maritime, including integration and assurance processes for deploying technology onto naval platforms.
  • 10 years of experience in project and programme management more widely.
  • Leadership skills to manage large, complex, multi-functional teams.
  • Able to gain SC Clearance.
  • Proficient in project finances, revenue recognition, margin improvement, and month-end reporting.

Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, you must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. This requires you to have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
