Science Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Science teacher to join our team at a special school in Westbury. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 students and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work with students with social and emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons plans that have been planned by yourself alongside the head teacher
  • Teach Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Monitor the progress of each pupil and provide feedback to teachers and senior members of staff
  • Work with students with social and emotional and behavioural difficulties

Requirements:

  • QTS or PGCE or QTLS
  • Experience of working with students with social and emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Knowledge of basic Science and experience teaching all three sciences (Chemistry, Biology, and Physics) to a secondary level
