Treasurer Lead

As a seasoned Treasurer, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial stability of our branch in Oxted, Surrey. Your duties will include managing our online accounting process, preparing financial reports, and maintaining compliance with RBL financial provisions. We require a highly organized and numerate individual who can work effectively in a team environment.

The Royal British Legion Oxted Branch is dedicated to providing support and direction to serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families. We rely on our volunteers to help us achieve our charitable objectives, and we need someone who shares our commitment to supporting Veterans and the Armed Forces community.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management – Manage our online accounting process and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
• Financial Reporting – Prepare and present a comprehensive financial summary at our AGM.
• Regulatory Compliance – Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all relevant RBL financial provisions and regulations.

Benefits:

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on your experience. You will also benefit from ongoing training and development opportunities as part of our commitment to staff growth and development.
